Advisers to US President Donald Trump are working on measures to ease anti-Russian sanctions. This was reported on March 10 by Bloomberg, citing sources.

"Trump's advisers are already developing a plan to ease the sanctions imposed on Russia," people familiar with the details told the agency.

It is noted that this will affect, among other things, restrictions on oil prices.

At the same time, US Senator from the Republican Party Lindsey Graham (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) announced on March 9 that he would soon submit to Congress a bill on the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation. It was noted that the restrictions will affect the banking and energy sectors.

In turn, American intelligence officer and analyst Scott Ritter said on March 8 that Moscow was ready for possible new sanctions from Washington. According to him, Russia has taken all necessary measures to mitigate the consequences of any actions by the United States, while maintaining the opportunity to successfully implement the goals of the special operation to protect Donbass.
