Russian special agencies are doing their job, doing everything that is necessary for the security of the country. This was stated on March 10 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the revocation of the accreditation of two British spies who worked under the guise of the British Embassy in Moscow.

"In this case, our special agencies are doing their job, ensuring the security of the Russian Federation. Everything that needs to be done is being done," he assured, answering a question from Izvestia.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the FSB had uncovered two spies who worked at the diplomatic mission. It was clarified that the diplomats were ordered to leave the country within two weeks. Later it became known that a representative of the British Embassy was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
