The Russian Foreign Ministry denied information about the talks between Russia and the United States in Saudi Arabia this week.

Negotiations between the Russian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia are not planned this week. This was announced on March 10 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"It is not planned. Moreover, no information has been received from the American side," she told TASS.

CNN reported on the plans of the US representatives to meet in Saudi Arabia not only with the delegation of Ukraine, but also with the Russian side earlier that day. According to him, the negotiations were supposed to take place on March 11.

The first negotiations between the delegations of Russia and the United States took place in one of the palaces of the royal family in Riyadh on Tuesday, February 18. At the end of the meeting, the US State Department announced that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had agreed to appoint high-level negotiating teams to begin work on resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
