In total, 16.9 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia following the results of the 10th week. According to analysts, this is 16% less than a week earlier, and 38% lower than the level of the same period last year.

On March 6, it became known that 78,040 new passenger cars were sold in Russia over the last winter month, which is 24.9% less than in February 2024. Lada remains the most popular brand, with its share rising to 31%.

Prior to that, on February 28, it was reported that in the year since the February start of production, the AGR Automobile Plant in St. Petersburg had produced more than 26,000 Solaris vehicles. The company uses full-cycle technology, including stamping, welding, painting and assembly, to produce Hyundai and Kia cars of four models with nameplates of the Russian brand.
