The architecture of the business program of the Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum forum is presented

The architecture of the business program is posted on the website of the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum", which will be held from May 13 to 18 in Kazan at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. The main theme of the Forum in 2025 is "Digitalization: a new reality and additional opportunities for expanding cooperation."

The KazanForum business program will combine several thematic tracks: international cooperation, tourism, transport, medicine, economics, global challenges, Islamic finance and investment, construction, education, culture, sports, halal industry, youth entrepreneurship and diplomacy, and others. The central event of the business program will be the plenary session.

"Cooperation with Islamic states is currently a key strategic area that can contribute to the creation of a new model of international relations in a multipolar world. In this regard, KazanForum acts as a practical platform for establishing interaction and sharing experiences with the Islamic business community of countries abroad. This year, the Forum's program will include all areas of the current agenda and areas of interaction between the countries of the Islamic world. The Forum participants will meet at sessions dedicated to the development of multimodal transport corridors, tourism, exports of Russian halal products, economic security, partner financing, industrial, technological, educational, cultural and youth projects. In total, the program includes about 120 thematic sessions with the participation of experts from the Russian regions, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other countries.

The Forum will host the Russia–Malaysia and Russia–Kazakhstan country round tables, the Russia–Iran industrial dialogue, the meeting of the co–chairs of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as a number of international meetings at various levels, including meetings of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.", the Caspian International Integration Club "North – South" (the North–South Club), the meeting of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of foreign states in Russia, the Congress of Ministers of Culture of the OIC countries and other events.

The international exhibition Russia Halal Expo, Russia's largest international exhibition of investment and infrastructure projects, will be held as part of KazanForum. Within the framework of economic, scientific and technological cooperation, bilateral business meetings of companies from Russia and the OIC countries will take place on the sidelines of the Forum.

In addition, the Kazan Halal Market international trade fair will open, the largest halal trading platform in Russia, where goods from leading manufacturing companies in the Islamic world will be presented.

In addition to the business component, the Forum participants and guests of the capital of Tatarstan will enjoy rich cultural and exhibition programs: the festival of cuisines of Islamic countries and the Yunus Akhmetzyanov tournament of young chefs from Russia and Islamic countries, the KFU Oriental Culture Festival, the Modest Fashion Day festival, the pedigree festival "Echo of centuries in the history of the family – Tarikhta without ezlebez", performances, exhibitions in theaters and museums of Kazan, a friendly football match and much more.
