There is complete anti-Russian hysteria in Western countries. This was announced on March 9 by American investor David Sachs on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to him, people seem to "need hysteria." He added that the world has switched from COVID-19 to the fact that Russia is supposed to "conquer Europe," In addition, he called such behavior "complete nonsense."

"Eventually, the light bulb will turn on, and you'll realize how you've been brainwashed," Sachs wrote.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on March 8 that the alliance's countries will have to invest more in security and increase the production of weapons, ships, aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and space systems.

On March 5, French President Emmanuel Macron said in his address to the nation that he intends to discuss the use of nuclear weapons in order to protect the entire European Union (EU). He also called on the association to provide itself with the largest amount of military equipment and to increase its defense capabilities "in the name of peace itself."

At the same time, in January, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Moscow had no plans to attack NATO countries. Vladislav Maslennikov, director of the Department of European Affairs at the agency, noted that the Russian Federation had not worsened ties with the alliance.
