Former Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexei Ulyukayev has withdrawn a petition to have his criminal record expunged, the Izvestia correspondent reports from the courtroom.

In December 2017, Ulyukayev was found guilty of accepting a particularly large bribe. Ulyukayev was sentenced to eight years in prison. In addition, he was obligated to pay 130 million rubles to the state. In April 2022, the Moscow District Court of Tver granted the request for parole, and in May he returned home.
