A driver was killed in an accident with a car and a train in the Orenburg region.


In the Orenburg region, a driver was killed in a collision between a VAZ-21053 car and a freight train. This was reported on March 10 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Orenburg region.
It is noted that the accident occurred at a railway crossing at the Tavshon station in Akbulak district. According to the agency, the 75-year-old driver of the car drove through a railway crossing at a red traffic light and then collided with a train, TASS reports.
The driver died at the scene from his injuries. At the moment, law enforcement officers are establishing the causes of the incident.
The day before, an accident occurred on the Astrakhan —Makhachkala highway, as a result of which three people were killed. It was noted that the Lada Granta driver drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Ford Fiesta car, as a result, the Lada passengers and the driver died on the spot. The driver of the second vehicle was also killed in the ambulance.
