The Ministry of Defense reported nine intercepted UAVs over the regions of Russia.

The Air Defense Forces intercepted nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Russian Federation. This was announced on Monday, March 10, by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"During the past night, nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the press service said on the department's Telegram channel.

It is specified that three drones were intercepted over the territory of the Samara region, two UAVs were destroyed over the territories of the Voronezh and Orel regions, and one drone each over the territories of the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

On the night of February 26, 128 Ukrainian UAVs were launched across the regions of Russia.

The day before, the Ministry of Defense reported 88 intercepted drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia. It is specified that most of the UAVs, namely 52 devices, were eliminated over the territory of the Belgorod region, 13 over the territory of the Lipetsk region. Nine more drones were destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces over the territory of the Rostov region, eight over the territory of the Voronezh region, three UAVs over the territory of the Astrakhan region and one each over the territories of the Krasnodar Territory, Ryazan and Kursk regions.
