US President Donald Trump said that the American and Ukrainian sides have almost reached an agreement on resuming the transfer of intelligence. On March 9, he told reporters at the White House.
"We have almost reached an agreement," he said, answering a question from reporters.
He also expressed the opinion that representatives of Ukraine would agree to sign a deal on rare earth minerals.
"I think they will sign a mining deal," the American leader said.
On the same day, Trump promised good results of negotiations with Ukraine in Saudi Arabia. He also expressed hope for "great progress" in moving towards the end of the Ukrainian conflict. According to Trump, "various negotiations" are planned in Saudi Arabia.
