Crews of T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks attacked the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR

Crews of T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks of the South group of forces destroyed strongholds with personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the town of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on Monday, March 10, by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Tank crews of the Southern Group of Forces <...> provide fire support to assault units of the Kostroma Guards Parachute Regiment, operate as part of armored groups and destroy enemy personnel in strongholds in the industrial zone of the village of Chas Yar in the DPR," the military department said.
It is specified that in order to remain unnoticed and ensure the fulfillment of combat missions by the assault units of the Ivanovo and Kostroma paratroopers, tankers work from closed firing positions and change them after practicing on the target to avoid enemy return fire.
Thus, the Russian military fired shells at the enemy from a distance of more than 5 km and inflicted an accurate hit on the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the correction of the direction of the projectiles was carried out in real time using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
"Today there was combat work from a closed firing position. We have worked out the enemy's manpower. The target was hit. On the way back, an FPV drone hit us. We are currently waiting for the repair team. When she arrives, we'll fix everything up quickly," said a tank platoon commander with the call sign "Mongoose."
Earlier, on March 8, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the Russian military launching a missile attack on a camouflaged position of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the US Armed Forces. The target was disguised in the village of Novonikolayevka.
