The Dome of Donbass intercepted 223 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the DPR in a week.

The Domol Donbass air defense and electronic warfare system intercepted and destroyed 223 targets over Donetsk and Makeyevka in a week. This was announced on Monday, March 10, by the Defense Headquarters of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"Thanks to the well-coordinated work of our defenders and the timely reaction of citizens, the crash sites of the drones were quickly identified. There were no civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure," the ministry said.

It is reported that an American-made Switchblade-600 attack drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was suppressed in the residential quarter of the Sovetsky district of Makeyevka. Also, an aircraft-type drone was suppressed near the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk, which carried out reconnaissance of the area to identify air defense calculations.

All targets were successfully eliminated.

On March 5, the "Dome of Donbass" prevented a Ukrainian drone attack on Makeyevka in the DPR. It is specified that the system intercepted the Switchblade-600 attack drone on the territory of the residential quarter of the Sovetsky district of the city. The UAV crashed into a private non-residential building. According to the DPR defense headquarters, explosives experts used special technical means to neutralize the drone and seized a live charge for subsequent destruction at the landfill.
