The Russian Ambassador revealed the volume of supplies of the Russian automotive industry to Morocco

GAZ cars can be purchased in 26 cities in Morocco. In total, more than 1,000 Russian cars have been shipped to the country since the beginning of regular deliveries. This was reported to Izvestia by the Russian Embassy in the kingdom.

AvtoVAZ representatives will come to the Latin American country in March to discuss the resumption of sales.

"Currently, it is possible to purchase and carry out maintenance of GAZ vehicles at 34 dealerships in 26 cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Marrakech, Tangier, etc. Over the entire period since the start of regular deliveries, [more than 1,000] vehicles have been shipped," the Russian diplomatic mission said.

The Gazelle NEXT on-board modifications are particularly popular in Morocco, on the basis of which Africa Motors has developed minibuses for transporting schoolchildren, among others. In 2022, the range expanded with ambulances, the embassy noted.

"Kamaz PJSC is showing some interest in entering the Moroccan market and is exploring the possibility of supplying trucks, special equipment and buses based on the KAMAZ chassis," the diplomatic mission added.
