The Russian Ambassador to Argentina announced the preparation of intergovernmental level delegations

In March, the Russian-Argentine friendship group is expected to contact via videoconference (VKS), and preparations are underway for an exchange of delegations at the intergovernmental level. Dmitry Feoktistov, the Russian Ambassador to Buenos Aires, said this in an interview with Izvestia.

"Since September 2024, three videoconferences have been held between friendship groups in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Argentina. Prospects for cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, healthcare, education, and culture were discussed. It is planned to organize another contact in the VKS format this month. Preparations are underway for the exchange of delegations," the diplomat said.

At the same time, Argentine deputies will come to Moscow first, and then a trip of Russian lawmakers to Buenos Aires may take place. In the current conditions, parliamentary diplomacy is an important area, Dmitry Feoktistov noted. The Embassy provides the necessary support in order to accelerate the dialogue.
