The UK has opened a criminal case against a man who shot at teenagers in Moscow.

The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in Moscow has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism") after reports of shooting from an air pistol towards minors in Borovsky Passage of the capital. This was announced on March 9 by the press service of the department in the Telegram channel.

"According to the investigation, on March 8, 2025, the defendant, being near an apartment building located in Borovsky Passage in Moscow, fired shots from an air pistol towards two minors. Nothing threatens the life and health of the victims," the Investigative Committee said.

It is specified that the person involved in the criminal case is currently detained. The investigators will begin questioning him soon.

Prior to that, on February 16, in the village of Khuchni in the Tabasaran region of Dagestan, a car driver opened fire on police officers, and an inspection is underway.
