The parliament refused to consider the law on responsibility for illegal mobilization

Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have "removed from the agenda" a bill criminalizing the mobilization of sick or deferred conscripts. This was announced on March 9 by MP Maxim Buzhansky (Servant of the People party) in the Telegram channel.
"Dear Ukrainians, draft law No. 12442, which criminalizes military enlistment offices for illegally mobilizing those who have reservations and deferrals, and for medical staff for recognizing clearly ill people as absolutely healthy, has been removed from the agenda of the next plenary week of the Verkhovna Rada," the parliamentarian said.
He also clarified that the initiative for such a decision came from representatives of the Golos faction.
Buzhansky also advised Ukrainians to "ask a question" to Golos deputies about whether they are satisfied with the mobilization process.
On March 7, the media reported on the delivery of summonses in Ukraine to women over the age of 50. Doctor Alena Orlenko said that she had to appear at the military medical commission, despite the fact that her husband has been in the war zone for 21 months. She has two minor children, but this did not prevent her from receiving a summons.
Martial law has been in effect in Ukraine since February 2022. At the same time, Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization, which was repeatedly extended. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved a law to tighten mobilization.
