Against the background of a change in the position of the Argentine authorities on the Ukrainian crisis, Kiev is likely to try to put pressure on the government of the Latin American country. Dmitry Feoktistov, the Russian Ambassador to Buenos Aires, said this in an interview with Izvestia.

"It cannot be ruled out that the regime of [President of Ukraine Vladimir] Zelensky will try to put pressure on the Argentine government in his usual brash manner. However, the recent altercation with [US President] Donald Trump in the Oval Office has demonstrated to the whole world that such "assaults" sometimes lead to the exact opposite result," the diplomat said.

Earlier, Argentina did not support the anti-Russian declaration at the UN, and the country's president Javier Miley deleted photos with Zelensky from his social networks.
