A fire started in Gorlovka after shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In Gorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, an uninhabited building and an annex next to it caught fire. This was announced on March 9 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"In the afternoon, in the Nikitovsky district, after the shelling, a fire broke out on the territory of a private household. The roof of a four—square uninhabited house and an extension of 30 squares burned down," the department said.

It is reported that there are no dead or injured. The fire was soon extinguished by the efforts of 11 employees and two fire trucks of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A day earlier, on March 8, the Ukrainian War Crimes Documentation Department of the administration of the head and Government of the DPR (JCCC) reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had fired 98 rounds of ammunition into the territory of the DPR in a day. As a result of the shelling, information was received about two wounded civilians. Two residential buildings, two cars and one civilian infrastructure facility were also damaged.
