The first secretary of the European Union (EU) delegation, Kaisa Maria Standish, left a bag with 435 thousand rubles on a bench in Moscow, it was stolen. This was announced on Sunday, March 9, by a source of Izvestia.
It happened at UniCredit Bank on Presnenskaya Embankment. Standish wanted to deposit cash on a bank card, but the organization was closed.
The diplomat sat down on a bench, putting on it a Furla bag worth 10 thousand rubles, which also contained cash in the amount of 435 thousand rubles and headphones for 24 thousand rubles, the source said.
Thus, the total damage amounted to almost half a million — 469 thousand rubles.
It is specified that law enforcement agencies establish the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, on February 3, the Muscovite said that an unknown man had entered his apartment and stolen seven women's bags and a traumatic pistol. The incident occurred on the night of February 2 in the Mitino area. The 61-year-old Muscovite estimated the damage at about 7.6 million rubles. An investigation is underway into the incident.
