The United States has suspended support for F-16 fighter jets in Ukraine. This was reported by Forbes magazine on March 6.

"The administration of US President Donald Trump has stopped assistance to Ukraine, including the necessary support for radar jamming transmitters of F-16 fighter jets," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, this decision could jeopardize the capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force. However, the Ukrainian army still has French-made Dassault Mirage 2000 fighters, the magazine added.

The Reuters news agency reported on March 4 that the White House officially confirmed the suspension of US military assistance to Ukraine.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, in turn, noted that Washington could resume arms supplies to Kiev if an agreement on rare earths was signed. He expressed the opinion that, against the background of its decision, the American administration wants to see how Ukraine will behave.
