Air defense systems shot down another Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod region

Air defense systems have shot down another Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Belgorod region. This was announced on March 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Belgorod region was destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the ministry, the drone was eliminated around 16:50.

On the night of February 26, 128 Ukrainian UAVs were launched across the regions of Russia.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of a Ukrainian UAV over the Belgorod region. It was clarified that the drone was shot down around 16:05.

The Ministry of Defense reported on March 8 that air defense systems eliminated 16 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an hour and a half over the territories of Russia. It was clarified that 10 drones were shot down over the Belgorod region and six over the Rostov region.
