Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting at the United Support Center for Participants in a Special Military Operation (SVO) and their families, appealed to a field medic from Tuva, Aidysmaa Mongush, who carried her husband's body from the battlefield, with a request not to return to the front.

"Don't go there, okay? <...> The kids need to be raised," the Russian leader told the girl, the video was presented on March 9 on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

Mongush has two sons aged five and 11, as well as a nine-year-old daughter.

During a meeting with employees and wards of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation on March 6, Putin listened to Mongush's story about the evacuation of her husband's body from the battlefield in the area of his military operation. One of the participants of the event suggested that the president reward the girl for the feat. The Russian leader supported this idea.

The widow said that her husband, Dazhi Omaka, decided to go to the free zone in 2023. At the same time, following his example, she went to the front as a military medic. The couple served at a distance of 20 km from each other, in neighboring military units.
