Erdogan to discuss initiatives on Ukraine with the government on March 10


Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to discuss with the Cabinet of Ministers on March 10 the initiatives of the Turkish side to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported on March 9 by the Milliyet newspaper, citing sources.
"The Cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow (March 10. - Ed.) in Beshtep under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan," the publication says.
According to the newspaper, the meeting will discuss the latest developments in Syria, as well as Turkey's initiatives to rebuild the Gaza Strip and establish peace between Ukraine and Russia.
On February 27, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko said that Erdogan was ready to provide a platform for negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. She also noted that it is impossible to talk about reaching any serious agreements without eliminating the differences between the Russian and Ukrainian sides.
