New fuel oil emissions were detected on the Anapa coastline after the wreck of the tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 in December. This was announced on March 9 by the press service of the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that minor emissions of fuel oil were recorded on the coastline between the village of Vityazevo and the village of Blagoveshchenskaya.
In addition, some more petroleum products were found in the Abinsky and Vyselkovsky districts. More new fragments of fuel oil were found on the Central beach of Anapa and on the beach of the Premiere wellness center.
Fuel oil emissions were also detected in Kavkazsky, Mostovsky and Labinsky districts.
"New fractions of petroleum products are removed first," concluded operstab.
On December 15, 2024, tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 crashed in the Kerch Strait due to bad weather. The incident resulted in a spill of petroleum products. 27 people were evacuated from both ships, and one person died.
