The military of the Russian Armed Forces raised the Russian flag in the liberated Constantinople in the DPR

Soldiers of the assault units of the Vostok group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) raised the Russian flag over Constantinople in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The footage was published on March 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

In the video, soldiers of the Russian army installed the Russian flag and copies of the Victory Banner on administrative buildings. Currently, the military has completed the mopping-up operations and has fortified itself in the village.

Russian troops liberated the town of Constantinople on the same day. As a result, the Ukrainian army in this area lost more than 145 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, a car and three field artillery pieces in a day.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian soldiers had also liberated the village of Lebedevka in the Kursk region and the hamlet of Novenkoe in the Sumy region. The ministry added that during the day the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 350 military personnel.
