The media announced London's plans to create a group to share intelligence for Kiev

The UK may create a group within the framework of the Five Eyes alliance for intelligence sharing without the United States. This was reported on March 9 by the Daily Mail newspaper, citing sources in the defense ministry.
It is noted that the decision of American President Donald Trump to ban allies, including Britain, from transferring classified American materials to Ukraine has led to calls for the creation of a separate group.
"This is not about leaving the Five Eyes, but about creating a new Four Eyes group within its framework — without America," one of the sources said.
Former British ambassador to Washington, David Manning, said the issue of intelligence sharing would be "more complex."
On March 5, Fox News journalist Jackie Heinrick reported that CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed Washington's decision to suspend cooperation with Kiev on intelligence transfer for a while. The correspondent of the same TV channel, Edward Lawrence, clarified that the decision was made after the scandalous meeting of the American president with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky at the White House.
The next day, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that Kiev was working to find alternative sources of information after limiting the exchange with the United States. In particular, according to him, if necessary, Ukraine will request intelligence from Germany. At the same time, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorny offered assistance to Kiev.
