Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said on March 9 that attempts to prolong the conflict in Ukraine were dangerous.

This is how Dmitriev reacted to a post in which Bruno Kahl, head of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND), was quoted as saying that if the armed conflict ended earlier than 2029 or 2030, Russia would be able to use its resources faster and thereby allegedly create a threat to Europe.

"Those who prolong the conflict by trying to weaken Russia are mistaken and dangerous. The world needs peace, not endless war," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Yesterday, Maximilian Krah, a member of the European Parliament and a member of Alternative for Germany, said that the injection of funds into the Ukrainian conflict was destroying the German economy. According to him, Germany spends a lot of money on Ukraine for no purpose, and the funds there are lost in corruption.
