Restrictions on the admission and release of aircraft have been lifted at the airports of Astrakhan, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan. This was announced on Sunday, March 9, by the press secretary of the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAFT) Artem Korenyako.

"Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft (AF) have been lifted at the airports of Astrakhan, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

As Korenyako pointed out, restrictions were imposed to ensure the safety of flights of civil aircraft.

At the same time, the head of the Republic of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, lifted the danger regime of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the Carpet plan.

"Abort the unmanned danger. The "Carpet" plan has been removed — the airport is operating normally," he informed on Telegram.

The introduction of time restrictions on work at the airports of Astrakhan, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan became known earlier that day. Korenyako clarified that the aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport staff are taking the necessary measures to ensure flight safety.
