Private Elena Kruglova, a nurse, together with assistants, a surgeon and an anesthesiologist, saved the lives of 30 Russian servicemen who were attacked by an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during evacuation to the rear for treatment. The Russian Defense Ministry told about her feat on March 7.

"30 wounded servicemen were taken to the medical center where Elena Kruglova was on duty that day. Minutes ticked by, Elena, along with assistants, an anesthesiologist and a surgeon, provided medical assistance to more than 30 soldiers for three hours," the military department noted in its Telegram channel.

The medical team made all necessary efforts to stop the bleeding of the fighters, which allowed them to stabilize their condition, the Russian Defense Ministry stressed. Then the servicemen were again prepared for transportation to the rear area for further rehabilitation.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that Kruglova regularly provides assistance to soldiers serving in the special military operation zone. She has repeatedly demonstrated her professionalism by performing tasks to stop bleeding and stabilize the condition of soldiers.

"Military doctors and medical personnel provide the necessary medical care to military personnel and injured civilians in the territory of deployed hospitals and medical centers," the military department concluded.

Earlier, on February 9, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that the nurse of the medical center of the motorized rifle unit, Corporal Lyudmila Bolilaya, covered a seriously wounded soldier, shielding him from fragments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shells. She was presented by the command with a high state award for heroism, courage, bravery, dedication and self-sacrifice shown in the performance of military duty.
