Sergei Zhukov appealed to the Supreme Court in a dispute over phonograms

The performer, the leader of the band "Hands up!" Sergey Zhukov filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court over a dispute over the rights to phonograms. This follows from the production card published on the device's website.
"[the claim] for recognizing the agreement on the transfer of exclusive rights to phonograms as an invalid (void) transaction, recognizing the agreement on the granting of an exclusive license to use phonograms as an invalid (void) transaction," follows from the case file.
Zhukov went to court together with former band member and co-founder Alexei Potekhin. The file also states that the application is currently under consideration by the judge.
According to official court documents, Zhukov and Potekhin's dispute with Andrei Malikov, the first producer of Hands Up!, and the Jam label concerns only 13 songs, including "Where Are You Girls?", "My Baby?", and "Alien Lips."
Earlier, on December 11, 2024, Natalia Polianchik, the official representative of the First Music Publishing House, CEO of IP Codex, told Izvestia that Zhukov had written an appeal addressed to Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, and Irina Podnosova, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. He asked them to help protect the copyrights of the band's songs.
Later, on December 20, representatives of the "Hands Up!" leader said that operational search activities that could be related to this situation had taken place at the offices of the Jam music publishing house and Top 7 Company LLC. It was claimed that they were talking about fictitious documents that allegedly confirm the rights to the phonograms of the band "Hands Up!".
