On March 9, State Duma deputy Sergei Gavrilov (KPRF) announced that the average military pension in Russia, after being indexed by 9.5%, would amount to 43 thousand rubles.

"According to calculations, the average size of the military pension after the March increase will be 43 thousand rubles," he told RIA Novosti.
