A danger regime for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been declared in North Ossetia and a Carpet plan has been introduced. This was announced on Sunday, March 9, by the head of the republic, Sergei Menyailo.

"An unmanned danger regime has been declared in North Ossetia and a Carpet plan has been introduced — Vladikavkaz airport is closed for receiving and sending aircraft," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

At the same time, Menyailo clarified that the operational headquarters continues its work.

Earlier, on March 8, a similar mode of unmanned danger was introduced in the region. Governor Menyailo also announced the introduction of the Carpet plan and the closure of Vladikavkaz airport. The governor urged residents to remain calm, not to react to provocations and to trust only verified information.
