Military personnel of the assault unit of the Airborne Troops (Airborne Forces) practice combat tactics during the assault and cleansing of settlements in the border areas of the Kursk region. On March 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed training footage of the Russian military.

Experienced military personnel, who improve their work tactics, also practice their skills in their free time. During the training, the fighters practice certain techniques several dozen times.

"I also train myself. It doesn't hurt to repeat it," said the stormtrooper with the call sign Azimut.

The training is organized in such a way that everything is exactly like on a combat mission, using intelligence data.

In addition, during the training, the terrain, the location of positions and the expected nature of the enemy's actions are studied, after which the fighters practice each element of the battle. During the training, the location of fortified firing points and the features of mine-explosive barriers are taken into account.

Training mines are also used to make what is happening more realistic. Military personnel practice the practice of defending against enemy drones and drops.

Earlier, on January 5, the soldiers of the assault troops of the Russian Guard conducted a training session to improve the skills of storming and holding enemy positions. It is specified that the fighters practiced their skills of overcoming fortifications, covering their partners and evacuating the wounded. It is noted that special attention was paid to tactical movement, identification and neutralization of tripwires and traps.
