Acting Governor Slyusar reported a fire due to a drone crash in the Rostov region

A fire broke out in the Rostov region due to the fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced on March 8 by Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar.

"In the village of Ryazhenoe, Matveevo-Kurgan region, a fire broke out in a private house due to the fall of a UAV while repelling an attack. Fire crews quickly localized it," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Slyusar also informed that there were no casualties.

"The head of the district, Dina Alborova, went to the place. <...> The family living in the house that caught fire has been evicted, as have residents of several neighboring houses," he added.

On this day, Slyusar reported that the air defense forces had repelled an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles in the Rostov region. No injuries or damage were found on the ground.
