- The media reported on the continuation of the transfer of US intelligence to Kiev for defense

The United States continues to provide Ukraine with intelligence data needed to protect troops and alert it to strikes, amid a general suspension of intelligence sharing with Kiev. This was reported on March 8 by the American Fox News channel, citing sources familiar with the details of Washington's decision.
It clarifies that the order to stop the transfer of intelligence affects information that helps Kiev in offensive operations, as well as the results of the work of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Information obtained through communication with people is also banned.
At the same time, one of the channel's sources in the intelligence community noted that the cessation of information exchange is temporary. According to him, the White House may reverse its decision in the coming days.
Earlier, on March 5, Fox News journalist Jackie Heinrick reported that CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed Washington's decision to suspend cooperation with Kiev on intelligence transfer for some time. Edward Lawrence, a correspondent for the same TV channel, clarified that the decision was made after a scandalous meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky at the White House.
The next day, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that Kiev was working to find alternative sources of information after limiting the exchange with the United States. In particular, according to him, if necessary, Ukraine will request intelligence from Germany. At the same time, French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecorn offered assistance to Kiev.
