A fire broke out in one of the apartment buildings in the central part of Berlin, as a result of which 16 people were injured. This was reported on March 8 by the Tagesspiegel newspaper.
It is specified that the fire started in an apartment on the first floor of the building. Of the 16 injured, 15 people were slightly injured, and one was seriously injured. In addition, as reported in Der Spiegel, four of the victims required hospitalization.
"According to a representative of the fire service, 68 employees were on site," the publication says.
On March 6, a fire at the Maanshan nuclear power plant occurred in southern Taiwan. Fire departments were sent to the scene of the emergency. Information about the victims is unknown.
