Vladimir Putin congratulates Russian women on International Women's Day
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday, March 8, congratulated Russian women on the holiday, noting that the country has always had a special attitude towards him.
"Words of love, appreciation and respect resound everywhere today. Men are in a hurry to tell their mothers, wives, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, girlfriends and colleagues how much they value them, how much they appreciate everything you do at home for your family and friends, and at work, sometimes performing very difficult professional tasks," the head of state noted.
In his congratulation, Putin stressed that women do everything in time.: They take care of their children, achieve success in various fields of activity, and inspire men. The President particularly noted the girls who are in the area of the special operation to protect Donbass.
"I would also like to address separately the women whose loved ones — husbands, fathers, brothers and loved ones — are now protecting the future of our country. Your sincere concern, unwavering care, and your love and loyalty give strength to our fighters," the head of state said.
Putin also clarified that much of life is based on talents, creative energy and the ultimate responsibility of women.
On Saturday, March 8, Russia and the world celebrate the spring holiday — International Women's Day. Traditionally, this day highlights the achievements of women regardless of nationality, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences.
