The Minister of Culture of Serbia reported insults from the attacker

Serbian Culture Minister Nikola Selakovic, who was attacked by an unknown man in the center of Belgrade, said on March 8 that he had shouted claims and insults on political grounds.
He clarified that the incident occurred at about 21:35 (23:35 Moscow time). Selakovich said that he was heading from the apartment where he lives with his family to his parents.
"The man behind his back shouted, insulted, said that all of us members of the Serbian Progressive Party would be impaled, expressed vulgar and obscene things. He came up to me from behind, and when I turned around and started talking to him, he hit me and ran away," he said on the RTS TV channel.
The attack on the Serbian Minister of Culture became known on March 7. President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic said that the protesters once again showed what they really think about democracy in the country, and demonstrated their true attitude towards people who think differently from them.
