- The captured military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the development of a machine gun in Germany only in theory

Alexander Kotelenets, a captured serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), spoke about his studies in Germany, where he studied the use of the Browning machine gun only in theory. The video was distributed on March 8 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
Kotelenets said that he was forcibly mobilized, after the formation of the brigade, he was trained in Germany.
"In Germany, the training gave Browning knowledge of what it is, what kind of machine gun, the concept of a machine gun. There was no Browning, they gave me a Turkish one," the prisoner of war noted.
According to him, there were practically no young people among those mobilized.
"There were practically no young people, and everyone was such a jerk. I also have a [sore] back, blood pressure: I put on my armor, ran with a machine gun, and I was suffocating," he said.
Kotelenets also spoke about how he was captured by Russian military personnel. He explained that together with his partner, trying to reach the positions, they came under fire from drones and mortars.
There was no point in going back because there were no identification marks and no walkie-talkie. <...> We didn't get there, so we decided to run to a shelter, well, somewhere, to some kind of cellar. We ran back, ran, ran into the yard, and there you are," added Kotelenets.
At the end of February, Alexander Chumak, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported on the forced mobilization in the country. According to him, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCK, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) they actively "catch" men on the street.
