In his congratulations on March 8, Medvedev noted the talent of women to make life brighter

On March 8, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, congratulated Russian women on International Women's Day and noted their talent for making life brighter.

"We always associate the brightest feelings with this holiday. It is women who have an amazing talent for making our lives brighter and happier, helping to preserve love and harmony in it," he wrote on the VKontakte social network.

He added that women demonstrate success at work, and at home they are able to create an atmosphere of kindness and harmony. The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council called on Russian women to give spiritual generosity, warmth and care to their families, friends and colleagues.

Medvedev wished the female part of the Russian population many reasons to smile and rejoice, a long spring mood, good health, happiness and well-being.

Also on March 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated women on International Women's Day. In the message, the head of state noted that they are able to do everything: they achieve success in various fields of activity, surround children with care and inspire men to do wonderful things, strive to achieve more and become better, be real defenders. He stressed that much of life is based on talents, creative energy, love and the ultimate responsibility of women.
