A man was injured as a result of a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Orlovka, Belgorod region. This was announced on March 8 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the Belgorod region in the village of Orlovka, a moving passenger car was attacked by a drone. The driver was injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The victim was taken to the regional clinical hospital, his condition is assessed as moderate.

In addition, Gladkov said that in the village of Khotmyzhsk, Grayvoronsky district, as a result of the dropping of explosive devices from a drone in two private houses, windows were broken and fences were damaged, and a passenger car was also damaged.

The governor added that information about the consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack is being clarified. In the near future, the operational services will conduct a survey of the territory.

In the Belgorod region, a local resident was injured during a night attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on March 6. In addition, a social facility, five private houses and outbuildings were damaged.
