The governor reported on a tank of an oil refinery in the Leningrad region damaged by UAV debris.

The wreckage of a drone intercepted by the air defense forces damaged one of the tanks of an oil refinery in the Kirishsky district of the Leningrad Region, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said on March 8.

"When the debris fell, the external structure of one of the tanks was damaged. The consequences are eliminated. Operational services are working," the head of the region said on the Telegram channel.

The governor also noted that another drone was shot down on approach to the refinery.

Drozdenko stressed that there were no casualties as a result of the attempted attack by unmanned aircraft.
