Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been introduced at Pulkovo and Yaroslavl airports. This was announced on Saturday, March 8, by the press secretary of the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAFT) Artem Korenyako.

"To ensure the safety of flights of civil aircraft (VS), temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft (VS) have been introduced at airports: Pulkovo, Yaroslavl," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Korenyako clarified that the aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport staff are taking the necessary measures to ensure flight safety.

Later, the FAFT press secretary informed that the restrictions at St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport had been lifted.

"Restrictions on aircraft admission and release have been lifted at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport at 06:15 Moscow time," Korenyako announced.

On this day, temporary restrictions on the operation of Saratov Airport were lifted. As Korenyako pointed out, restrictions were imposed to ensure the safety of flights of civil aircraft.
