Vucic reported an attack on the Serbian Minister of Culture during the protests

Serbian Minister of Culture Nikola Selakovic was attacked amid mass protests. This was announced on March 7 by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
"I want to urge you to keep the peace, because they cannot defeat decent Serbia.… Minister Selakovich was also attacked in the evening… They think they've solved some kind of problem. No," the video message was posted on Vucic's Instagram page (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation)
According to him, the protesters once again showed what they really think about democracy in the country and demonstrated their true attitude towards people who think differently from them.
Earlier, on March 4, deputies of opposition parties lit smoke bombs and started a fight in the meeting room during the first spring session of parliament. It was clarified that the reason for the riots was the approval of the agenda, including a vote of confidence in Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic. During the scuffle that took place at the first spring session of parliament, three female deputies were injured.
