Trump announced that Russia has cards in its hands for negotiations with Ukraine

Russia holds all the cards in the negotiations on Ukraine. This was announced on March 7 by US President Donald Trump.

"It's more difficult for me to deal with Ukraine. <...> I find it easier to deal with Russia in the context of reaching a final agreement. Which is surprising, because they have all the cards in their hands," the video of his speech is broadcast by the Fox News YouTube channel.

The President also noted that Ukraine needs to "not delay and get the job done."

Ukraine has expressed readiness for dialogue with the United States, but the Kiev regime remains self-barred from contacts with Moscow.

Earlier in the day, Trump said that Ukraine would have to make a peace deal because it had no choice. During a conversation with reporters, he said that his administration had made "great progress" in recent days in relations with Ukraine and Russia.
