The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Artem Dmytruk said that he regrets that at one time Kiev refused the offer of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to sit down at the negotiating table. He made a corresponding statement on March 7 in the Telegram channel.

"Now the whole world is tearing Ukraine apart and everyone wants to grab a piece for themselves, and it doesn't matter whether they have grounds for it or not," the MP said.

He also stressed that the more participants involved in the conflict resolution process, "the more difficult and expensive" it will be for Ukraine.

On the same day, US President Donald Trump said that the Russian army was showing success and was literally "destroying" the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the combat zone. The American leader also called on Russia and Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table "before it's too late."
