Murashko congratulated women on International Women's Day

Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko congratulated women on International Women's Day on March 8.

"Dear women, I cordially congratulate you on International Women's Day on March 8th. This bright spring holiday is for those who create beauty in the world, who give their love and care, who keep a home, raise children and work for the good of the Motherland," he said.

According to Murashko, women inspire men to perform heroic deeds, as well as to fulfill a responsible mission to protect the Fatherland and family. Thinking about their loved ones, mothers, sisters, daughters and wives, Russian servicemen are doing their duty in the special military operation zone, the Minister of Health added.

He said that today 70% of doctors and 95% of the secondary medical staff are women. Representatives of the fair sex also hold the position of head of a regional ministry or department of health in every third case, the Minister of Health specified.

He expressed special gratitude to the women who devoted their lives to the medical profession, for the fact that they selflessly work for the benefit of the Motherland.
