The driver of the Gazelle was killed in a collision with a bus near Olenegorsk.

In the Olenegorsky district of the Murmansk region, as a result of a collision between a Gazelle and a regular bus, one person was killed and one injured. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate and the prosecutor's office in their Telegram channels report on the inspections that have begun on this fact.

The accident occurred around 10 a.m. on Friday, March 7, on the 28th km of the Olenegorsk –Lovozero highway. The driver of the Gazelle drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a regular MAZ bus traveling along the route Olenegorsk 2 – Olenegorsk 8.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the GAZ received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. The bus driver was taken to the hospital, writes the Bi-port news agency.

Judging by the footage from the scene posted on the Telegram channel of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Gazelle cabin was literally crushed and turned out. Plastic pallets spilled out of the truck onto the roadway. The car crashed into the bus from the driver's side, and it was in this part that the MAZ was heavily damaged.

Traffic police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The prosecutor's office began its investigation into the accident.
