RuStore has been installed on devices more than 100 million times

The official RuStore app store has surpassed the 100 million install mark. This was announced on Friday, March 7, by the VK press service.

Among the main reasons for popularity are uninterrupted access to services, the ability to make purchases in various ways, security and a wide range of applications – there are more than 50 thousand of them.

"Over the past year, we have significantly expanded the presence of RuStore on various operating systems and devices. Now users can safely download and pay for applications and games from any convenient device," said Oleg Afanasyev, Product Director at RuStore.

He stressed that the app store first appeared on e-books and televisions in 2024, and now it is available on projectors, Hi-Fi audio players, and game consoles. In addition, it is also available on devices that are not adapted to the app store.

The most popular model with a domestic store is Xiaomi Redmi Note 13, and the most expensive mobile device with RuStore turned out to be Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. At the same time, Xiaomi Redmi 9A became the most budget-friendly.

On July 25, 2024, machine learning (ML) technologies appeared in RuStore. ML is most often used in search for the right applications. When making recommendations, neural networks take into account the number of app installations and openings, the frequency of updates, and other important parameters for users.
