Kremlin: Putin congratulated Vucic on his 55th birthday by phone

During a telephone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Serbian President Alexander Vucic on his birthday. This was announced on March 7 on the Kremlin's website.

"Taking this opportunity, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated the President of Serbia on his recent 55th birthday," the message says.

The Kremlin's press service added that the heads of state agreed to continue further contacts at various levels.

During a telephone conversation on March 7, the Presidents of Russia and Serbia also discussed bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and stressed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between the states.

In addition, Vucic confirmed that he would come to Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and would send a unit of the Serbian army to participate in the parade.
